Zara Launches Inclusive And Refillable Beauty Line
In an era of overstuffed cosmetics counters and the general embracing of smaller, niche beauty brands that do one thing well—in aesthetically-minded packaging of course—the news that Zara was launching a cosmetics collection was somewhat surprising. Unlike Zara’s past dalliances with fragrances, the new Zara Beauty line is extensive: eyes, lips, face and nails are covered in the collection—with over 130 colours to select from.
While we’ve seen forays of relative success from clothing brands into makeup—the Topshop and & Other Stories lines boast legitimately good colour cosmetics—this will be the Spanish retail giant’s first comprehensive beauty collection.
